Format

This will be a fun, but competitive, round robin team tournament. Our goal is to have a great day of Squash while raising money for the cancer centers!

Each team will consist of Four (4x) team members with each participant in a minimum of three matches. (The number of games per match will be determined by the number of registrants participating in this event)

Teams can consist of players of varying skill

Every point counts in this event

Competition will be tiered based on skill level of play. To facilitate this, as part of the registration process each participant will be required to submit their skill level:

Novice Skill Level
Intermediate Skill Level
Advanced Skill Level

Participants are welcome to:

Start your own team or Join an existing team. Teams may consist of players of varying skill.
Register to participate as an individual. In this instance you will be assigned to a team

If your registered team has fewer than four players we will do our best to fill the team with individual registrants.

Friends and family are welcomed to join us at the Chevy Chase Athletic Club as spectators free of charge – join us for good food, great company and a Squash exhibition game!

• 9am: Registration/Check-in, light breakfast served10am: Start of Match Play

  12:30-1:30pm: Play with the Pros/Lunch is Served

  1:30-2:00pm: Talk from Radiologist, Bill Craig

  2:00-6:00pm: Match Play

  6:00pm: Exhibition Match and pizzas

PLAY WITH THE PROS: 12.30pm

SQUASH Cancer offers an exclusive number of slots for participants to learn from the best! During the  break between match play on Saturday Aug 3 (12:30 – 1.:30pm) ), for a $40 donation you’ll have the chance to go head-to-head with a Squash Pro for 15 minutes.

EXHIBITION GAME: 6.00PM

This is an exclusive opportunity to see top US Squash players in action on the court here in the Washington D.C. This event is free to attend so please invite your friends and family! Pizzas provided for dinner.
