Commencing in 2004 the CIVL is the longest running High School League in the Washington DC area

CIVL (High School) 2016/17

LOCATION: Most matches will be played at CCAC, Barlow Building, 18th floor, 5454 Wisconsin Ave, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 (for parking and access details contact Connie). Other venues will be advised.

PROGRAM: The CIVL program will have 10 high school squash teams playing matches at Chevy Chase Athletic Club CCAC generally on Friday afternoons. Teams are comprised of seven players each.

PARTICIPANTS: School groups and individual participants are invited to play. Individuals whose school does not have a team are invited to apply and will be allocated to a regular team.

 

CIML (Middle School) 2016/17

PROGRAM: The CIML program will have 4-6 middle school squash teams playing matches at Chevy Chase Athletic Club CCAC, generally on Friday afternoons. Teams are comprised of 6-8 players each.

PARTICIPANTS: School groups and individual participants are invited to play. Individuals whose school does not have a team are invited to apply and will be allocated to a regular team.

 

TOURNAMENT: A CIML end of season tournament will be held in June. The cost will be $40 which will include prizes for winners and finalists.

2016/17 Chase Interclub Varsity League (CIVL):

2016/17 Chase Interclub Middle-School League (CIML):

Each team must have a designated captain who facilitates communication between the players and the CIVL coordinator. When scheduled, the captain will be responsible for organizing players for the match. Players must play in order of merit.

PARTICIPANTS:  School groups and individual participants are invited to play. Individuals whose school does not have a team are invited to apply and will be allocated to a regular team.

DATESRegistration deadline, November 5.  Detailed schedule published when finalized.

ENTRY FEE: $130 include matches, personalized T-shirt. Late fee of $20 applies if payment is received after deadline.

EYEGUARDS: Lensed eye protection is mandatory for all players

BALL: Dunlop Revelation Pro xx

UMPIRING – Participants gain knowledge and confidence from umpiring games and should mark/umpire the next match. Advise a senior team member or a coach/ supervisor if you need assistance.
