Whitman Fall/Winter/Spring 2025-26

The Whitman Squash Club team formed in 2005 and plays in the CIVL Chase Interclub League. The Vikings are the CIVL Varsity and JV champions. See more about the CIVL here.

Dates 2025-26 Season: 

• Fall Sept 2 – Nov 9
• Winter Nov 10 – Feb 15
• Spring Feb 16 – May 24
• Note classes are not held Public holidays, MLK weekend, Dec 22, Winter/ Spring break, and when MCPS is closed. e.g., snow days
• Charlotte Squash Club NC Squash Camp, Summer 2025 dates Aug 4 – 8, must be paid by July 1
• CCAC Whitman Camp Summer 2025 Aug 18 – 22, must be paid by July 1

Cost: $575 per time-slot for Fall
(Applicants may do more than one day/week in any session, cost is $575 for each of the sessions – example if you want your child to attend Tuesdays for the session cost is $575, if you also want them to do Wednesday the cost is another $575).

NOTE – 3pm Mon and Wed are for Varsity and top JV players only, 3.15 Tues, Thurs and Fri are for all

Mandatory training –Notes for Varsity:

1. Monday & Wednesday 3.00 – 4.00pm
2. Speed and agility training – 30 mins directly after above 1.
3. Sunday 2pm 1.5 hr clinics as directed by coaches
4. CCAC membership – to allow you to do challenge matches, attend captains practice and use gym
5. If selected, attendance at HS Nationals in February (PA)
6. Charlotte Squash Club NC squash camp Aug 4 – 8, must be paid by July 1
7. CCAC Whitman camp Summer 2025 dates Aug 18-22, must be paid by July 1
8. Voluntary attendance Australian camp

Equipment required: Non-marking shoes, racquet, goggles (may be purchased from Connie available for first day)  CIVL Winter ONLY: All players are welcome to play in the Chase Interclub Varsity League (CIVL), there are no try outs and the league is fun and friendly competition.

If you will be absent for any classes please give coaches 24 hrs notice

JV players can register for days other than Monday

Try outs/ challenge ladder will be held the last week in August as part of the compulsory camp. This is for all players wanting to play V or JV for Fall / Winter.
