- Winter Nov 14 – Feb 17 (13 weeks)
- Spring Feb 18 – June 14 (15 weeks)
Note classes are not held Public holidays, Winter/ Spring break, Mar 31 – May 11, and when MCPS is closed. e.g., snow days

The Whitman Varsity Squash Team are National Champions — Go Vikings!
Congratulations to captain James Kiracofe and players Tej Patel, Tomas Montoya, Kabir Mehndiratta, Aidan Donnan, Charlie Schulman, Neel Sabharwal, and Gabriel Solonsky. They overcame stiff opposition from teams from around the country to win Division 5 in the U.S. High School Team Championships in Philadelphia over the weekend. Whitman was one of the very few public schools to compete in the tournament and the only public school to take home a trophy.
