Pyle Fall/Winter/Spring
Go Panthers!
The Pyle Squash Club team plays in the CIML, an intraclub league with multiple different middle schools competing.
What is Squash:
An indoor racquet sport like racquetball, and one of the most dynamic and fastest growing sports in the US, squash is exploding at the junior level. The Ivy League and other top colleges place a strong emphasis on their squash programs and often give consideration to applicants who play squash.
Named by Forbes magazine as the top ranked healthiest sport, squash is a great cardio workout that also provides ideal training for other sports. A lifetime sport, squash is a fun activity the whole family can participate in. The Pyle junior squash program, run by one of the area’s top squash pros, Connie Barnes is held at Chevy Chase Athletic Club. The program will emphasize squash techniques and strategies, fitness and sportsmanship and is open to all levels.
Many of the Pyle juniors go on to play for the Whitman team, Whose Varsity and JV team have won the most out of any school in the league!
